Clarus Initiates Quarterly Cash Dividend

SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Clarus Corporation (NASDAQ: CLAR) (“Clarus” and/or the “Company”), a company focused on the outdoor and consumer industries, seeking opportunities to acquire and grow businesses that can generate attractive shareholder returns, announced today that its board of directors has approved the initiation of a quarterly cash dividend program.

Under the program, Clarus will pay a quarterly cash dividend of $0.025 per share ($0.10 per share on an annualized basis) to shareholders. The first dividend will be paid on September 4, 2018, to shareholders of record on the close of business on August 20, 2018.

The declaration and payment of future dividends will be subject to the discretion of and approval of the Company’s board of directors and will be dependent upon, among other things, the Company's financial position, results of operations and cash flow, as well as compliance with applicable law and the terms of the Company’s credit agreement with JP Morgan Chase Bank, N.A. Stock repurchases remain subject to market conditions and other considerations and may be commenced or suspended at any time or from time to time, without prior notice.
